Canon Pixma Set-up with a USB Cable for Mac and Windows

One of the vital considerations in choosing the right printer you need whether for office use or for personal consumption, is to know how the printer connects to a computer.  Although there are various ways in connecting printers to your PC, Canon Pixma MG3520 also allows setup with a USB cable to your computer.

The following are some of the advantages it offers:

  1. Wired printers are easier to install than network and / or wireless printers. Your computer’s operating system may be instantly detected and may install drivers to get you to start.
  2. It allows the printer and computer to communicate at a high speed for data transfer.
  3. Sharing of printer over a network is also possible which allows others to queue up their print jobs to the device.  However, such is doable only if the PC connected to the printer is turned on.

  • For other error codes and messages that may come up during the installation or usage of the Canon-Pixma printer, are there possible solutions and suggestions that may be recommended for easy fixing by a user? If yes, please I’ll need some for mine.
